Sven - by Dave Eggers (Hardcover)

Book Synopsis

From Newbery Award-winning and New York Times bestselling author Dave Eggers, a witty and wonderful tale about a normal cat named Sven who happens to be an excellent plumber.

After Renny's sister brings home a cat named Sven, Renny begins to notice that there is something peculiar about their new pet. It begins in the bathroom when Sven fixes the toilet with skill and aplomb. After he moves on to replacing the pipes under the kitchen sink and repairing the water heater in the garage, the whole family had to admit it: their cat is an excellent plumber. His rates are very reasonable, too.

A cat with a successful plumbing business might seem pretty remarkable. But no one could imagine what Sven decides to do next. (Hint: it involves light jazz and heavy machinery.)

Bestselling and award-winning author Dave Eggers's impeccably dry sense of humor paired with Zachariah OHora's bold art style makes for an irreverently funny tale that readers won't soon forget.
