Fresh SweeTango Apples - 2lb Bag

Mealy texture and one of them was half mushy/rotten and that was the day I bought them.

These apples were disappointing. A bit mealy and partially shriveled. I kept them in the fridge for less than a week and now I have to turn them into applesauce or something because they're not edible otherwise.

Overripe and a pain to get a refund/return.

they are mooshy and almost rotten! texture is gross and not fresh! I was very upset when I got home and tasted it.

Half of these apples are completely rotten. The photo won't upload, but they are dripping wet! There is no way the shopper could have missed it!!!!!

Delicious and very fresh! I also like that they’re a normal size instead of the huge apples you usually see, perfect for one person.

I like these have thinner skin than other sweetango apples I’ve bought from other stores, but the one time I didn’t check my pick up order I got rotten apples. Just be sure to double check before going home I guess

Let me preface this review by saying I'm aware it's an established fact that SweeTango apples are only good during the months of Sep/Oct. Do some web research to confirm that for yourself if you wish. Anyway, that's why I waited until mid-September to get them. However, these are the complete opposite of the ones we got this time last year. Instead of super flavorful and literally dripping with juice when you bite into it, these are bland and no juice. Instead of cripsy, they are soft. I could go on but you get the idea. It genuinely makes me think someone along the line pulled a switcheroo scam and substituted a much cheaper variety for the more expensive SweeTango apples that should have been in the bag. I don't know if that happened at the producer, the distributor, or by a customer in the store but I am convinced what I received was not an authentic SweeTango bag of apples.

Yuck. Purchased these due to good reviews. If you like mushy or soft apples then these will be for you. I like crispy sweeter apples.

T hough sometimes not fresh enough. When fresh, very sweet, very tasty. Size is not big, good for snacks. Price higher than other stores though.
