TaylorMade MG5 Chrome 60° Lob Wedge 08°

My favorite wedge - I've stuck with the MG series for the past 6 years - still the best.

Best feeling wedge I’ve had to date. I was hesitant into switch to these from my Vokey SM9s but have absolutely zero regret.

I have never had this much confidence around the greens. The irons have also rusted along the face nicely, reducing the bright glare.

Great MG5 Wedges love the feel and control I have with them.

As an 8-handicap, I recently overhauled my short game setup with the TaylorMade MG5 wedges (50°, 56°, and 60°), custom-built with MMT Regular shafts, and the on-course performance has been phenomenal. The biggest upgrade here is the feel. The MG5 is TaylorMade's first fully forged wedge. Because it is crafted from ultrasoft carbon steel, the feedback at impact is remarkably pure and responsive. You get a buttery sensation that makes dialing in distance from 100 yards and in feel incredibly intuitive. Then there is the spin control, which is where this wedge truly separates itself. TaylorMade engineered the MG5 with an all-new aggressive saw-milled groove pattern featuring steeper walls and sharper radii for maximum friction. They paired this with a raw face and Spin Tread Technology, which channels away moisture in wet conditions the same way a tire tread grips the road. Even during damp, early morning rounds, the bite on the green is exceptionally consistent.

Love the weight of this wedge I personally like to feel the weight and this one did the trick for me

New wedge with a great feel/weight. Shape is classic with a good topline shape.

Love the compact look at address. Black finish and grooves provide a perfect amount of spin

Added this as a gap wedge to my bag. Very pleased with the performance.

The TaylorMade MG5 wedge has been an excellent addition to my bag. The feel is outstanding—soft and responsive around the greens while still providing plenty of feedback on full and partial shots. One of my favorite features is the ability to order the MG5 with the same shaft I play in my irons. Having that consistency in weight and feel throughout the set makes the transition from my irons into my wedges feel seamless. I also really like the raw face. At address, it gives the wedge a clean, confidence-inspiring look without unnecessary glare or distraction. Overall, the MG5 combines excellent feel, a great look at address, and the ability to match my iron setup. It has quickly become a wedge I feel very comfortable with from a variety of distances and lies.

Best wedges! Totally recommend! I get so much spin on the ball now.

Best wedge I’ve ever had! The feel and ball spin are top notch!

Love my new wedges. These forge wedges feels really solid. The spin off the face was a nice feel and improvement.

Great spin and consistency. The feel is good as well.

These wegdes are very difficult to clean the gooves. In addtion, the face of the club is so rough that it chews up your balls.

Such a well made club, they feel great while taking full swings and soft around the greens. I feel confident every time i pull them out the bag, love them!

These are some of my favorite wedges and will not be looking to change anytime soon.

This MG5 wedge has been such a joy to use and don't get me started on the finish. This is gorgeous next to my P790s. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

Just absolutely fan-freakin-tastic. Good bounce and grooves.

They're everything I could ask for in a wedge and then some. The grinds, the feel, it's amazing. I have total confidence over every shot with these
