Mary Retta is a writer whose essays and reporting have been published in New York Magazine, The Nation, Teen Vogue, and elsewhere. Her work has received support from Lambda Literary and the McCormack Writing Center (formerly Tin House). Team is her first novel. She lives in Chicago.
