Book Synopsis
In an age where technology intertwines seamlessly with our everyday lives, TERRORBYTES delves deeper into the shadows of our digital existence, exploring the uncharted territories of human consciousness shaped by technological evolution. This new series pushes the boundaries of speculative fiction, presenting stories that challenge the very essence of identity, morality, and reality in a hyper-connected world. The new series will continues to explore the dark and often dystopian themes that define our world. It poses critical questions about the future of human relationships, privacy, and autonomy in a world increasingly dominated by technology. Each issue/comic stands as a cautionary tale, reflecting upon the potential consequences of our current technological trajectory and challenging viewers to question the cost of progress. This new series invites readers to peer into the reflective surface of their screens and confront the profound impact of technology on the human condition, urging introspection and dialogue about the path we are collectively forging.About the Author
Mark Russell is an author, comic book writer, and cartoonist living and toiling in Portland, Oregon. The works he is known for include God Is Disappointed in You, a modern re-telling of the Bible, The Flintstones, Exit Stage Left: The Snagglepuss Chronicles (Winner of the 2019 GLAAD Award for Outstanding Comic), Not All Robots (Winner of the 2022 Eisner Award for Best Humor Comic), and Superman: Space Age, which tells the story of Superman and his loved ones, living against the backdrop of Cold War America. As far as he knows, all his books are still in print. Mark London's central focus is to provide a compelling experience through action-driven storytelling and immense world building. Everything he does at Mad Cave is the result of a commitment he made to his amazing wife to pursue his passion and follow his dreams. Always read the best comics first. Alberto Ponticelli is fascinated by monsters and uses them to explore the complexities of humanity--finding something painfully wonderful in what hides beneath the surface. Science fiction is his preferred lens for these themes. His recent work includes Orc Island (with Joshua Dysart), Warm Fusion (with Scott Hoffman), Unknown Soldier (with Joshua Dysart, Vertigo/DC Comics), Dark Knight (with Greg Hurwitz, DC Comics), Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E. (with Jeff Lemire, DC Comics), and Goodnight Paradise (with Joshua Dysart, TKO Studios). Emanuele is a comic book artist, art director, and stuntman based in Rome, Italy. His work spans collaborations with Image Comics, Sergio Bonelli Editore, and Mad Cave Studios. He recently illustrated Ferocious, a dark fantasy horror series written by Luke Piotrowski (The Night House, Hellraiser), and is currently developing a new, undisclosed project. Félix Ruiz is a Spanish comic book artist and graphic designer with over 20 years of experience. He has worked with Marvel (Halo, New Mutants, Punisher, Wolverine Max), DC (Batman Eternal, The Joker: Endgame), and European publishers like Soleil and Paquet (Helvetius, Wunderwaffen). Known for his adaptable style, Félix draws inspiration from creators such as Bill Sienkiewicz, Robert Peak, Ralph Steadman, Frank Miller, Alex Toth, and Wally Wood, trying to adapt his style to each story. (www.felixruiz.es) Val Hal Halvorson is a comic book creator and horror illustrator who almost never goes outside. He is the artist for the Vault series, Finger Guns, as well as various anthologies such as Dead Beats 2, and Grimm Tales from the Cave. In addition to illustrating, he also likes to write comics and he is not kind to his characters. He wrote and illustrated the short horror comic, Pareidolia, which was featured in Panel x Panel. Junji Ito once reviewed his work positively in a video for Vis Media and he'll never stop telling people about it. In his spare time, he consumes a ton of horror media, bakes a bunch of bread, and won't shut up about 90's FMV games. Fran Gamboa is a Spanish colorist based in Malaga, working in comics since 2001. He has contributed to American publishers such as Image, Zenescope, and IDW Publishing, on titles including Star Trek, Grimm Fairy Tales of Terror, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In France, he has collaborated with Delcourt on Le Capitaine Fracasse and Mages 13: Helios. In Spain, his work appears with Norma Editorial, Dibbuks, Planeta Cómic, and Karras Comics, on titles such as Hoy me ha pasado algo muy bestia (Something Very Beastly Happened to Me Today), Tambores (Drums), and Nancy in Hell. He is currently working with Mad Cave Studios on Honor and Curse, Exit City, and Terrorbytes. Carlos M. Mangual is the founder and proprietor of Social Myth Studios and has been lettering comic books for over 15 years. His credits include work for publishers such as DC Comics, AfterShock Comics, Dynamite Entertainment, Mad Cave Studios, Zenescope Entertainment, Dark Horse Comics, and more. He currently lives in Clearwater, Florida.Dimensions (Overall): 10.13 Inches (H) x 6.63 Inches (W) x .5 Inches (D)
