Description
The TetraPond® Air Pump Kit provides vital oxygen to backyard ponds. It offers a wintertime survival solution for ponds in freezing temperatures. This kit includes 30 feet of air tubing, along with air stones, porous objects that gradually give off small bubbles to increase the oxygen in the water. The air pump takes in air, then air is compressed and delivered from the pump unit. Compressed air comes out of the air stones located in the pond to add beneficial oxygen. This equipment comes with a 1-year limited warranty (see product packaging for details). The TetraPond Air Pump Kit is for outdoor use in ponds up to 5,000 gallons and provides 100 GPH flow capacity.

Horrible air pump
I have purchased 2 of these from my local Menards. The first one lasted a couple months and one side completely quit...I purchased another one last year and the same exact thing within a few weeks the one side stopped blowing air. I will never purchase this product again

Lasted 3 months
I purchased this Item off Amazon. One side went out after around 2 months. The other side went out after 3 months. The its plugged in it does make a hum but no air pressure comes out of the Plastic ends that connect to the hoses. I hope Tetra does the right thing and sends me a new one to see if it does any better.

No bubbles after 6 month
I bought this last fall for my Koi pond. If the diffusers are deeper than 6 inches In the water no bubbles come through to the fish. Perhaps this was meant for indoor use and a small fish tank ???

Going string for three years
This unit has been keeping our small fish and frog pond aerated in summer and ice free in winter for three years. I need to clean the stones and tubing about once a year. This year I may splurge and purchase new stines and tubing.
