Q: Why was I given the Texas Instruments 84 Plus CE Graphing Calculator Python ver instead of the normal one?
A: I too, was given the Python instead of the normal Ti-84CE. On Target's product description it does not say it's a Python. This is being sold online & instores as Ti-84CE (but it's a python model).

Q: Why is it so expensive?
A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about Texas Instruments 84 Plus CE Graphing Calculator - Black: 35MB Storage, SAT & ACT Approved. Critics argue that TI's dominant position enables them to charge significantly higher profit margins than the average electronics industry. Because there's less pressure from competition or consumer demand for rapid innovation, TI has less incentive to drastically reduce prices or completely overhaul their core products. While alternative free tools (like Desmos or GeoGebra) and more powerful general-purpose devices (smartphones, computers) exist, the requirement for specific calculators on standardized tests and in classrooms keeps the demand for TI graphing calculators consistently high. Q: Can you put any battery in that is not rechargeable ?
A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about Texas Instruments 84 Plus CE Graphing Calculator - Black: 35MB Storage, SAT & ACT Approved. No, you cannot put any non-rechargeable battery into a Texas Instruments 84 Plus CE Graphing Calculator. The TI-84 Plus CE is designed to use a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. This is different from older TI-84 Plus models (which used AAA alkaline batteries). Trying to use non-rechargeable batteries in the TI-84 Plus CE could damage the calculator or the batteries. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.
