Meticulous attention to detail has gone into this reissue and the digitisation to make sure every detailed nuance was preserved. A 96KHZ-24bit pass, using a valve signal at minus ten decibels (to eliminate turntable rumble), was conducted several times in order to gauge the best results. No attempt was made to rebalance or EQ. A half speed master was then cut at AIR Mastering and a test pressing was then dubbed using the same process and the dynamic range compared against the original pressing. The result was a better sound pressing than the original!
