The Bride - Silence Is Madness (Colored Vinyl Limited Edition Remastered Bonus Track)

Few bands defined Christian hard rock and metal in the late 1980s quite like Bride. By the time Silence Is Madness arrived in 1989, the Louisville-based band had already established itself as one of the most exciting and influential acts in the scene. Building upon the metal foundations of Show No Mercy and Live To Die, Bride took another creative leap forward, crafting an album packed with unforgettable hooks, powerful melodies, and enough grit and attitude to stand toe-to-toe with the biggest hard rock releases of the era.Often regarded as the third chapter in Bride's legendary trilogy of classic 80s albums, Silence Is Madness showcases the band at the height of it's creative powers. Vocalist Dale Thompson delivers one of the strongest performances of his career, effortlessly moving from bluesy swagger to emotional conviction, while Troy Thompson's guitar work blends scorching riffs, tasteful solos, and memorable melodies throughout. The album is loaded with fan favorites and concert staples, including the infectious "Fool Me Once," the hard-hitting title track "Under The Influence," the Southern-flavored rocker "Hot Down South Tonight," the haunting "Evil Dreams," the seasonal metal classic "All Hallow's Eve," and the powerful closer "No More Nightmares." Together, these songs helped cement Bride's reputation as one of the premier hard rock bands of their generation.Recognized by Angelic Warlord as #29 on the Top 50 Christian Metal & Hard Rock Albums of the 1980s, Silence Is Madness remains an essential release for collectors and fans of classic melodic hard rock and metal.
