A groundbreaking book and invaluable resource for families navigating those first conversations around puberty, sex, consent and gender, The Every Body Book has given "the talk" an inclusive makeover. This book is a must read for parents and caregivers of children of all gender identities and expressions - along with anyone who wants their children to learn the value of kindness, respect and diversity.--Jo Hirst, Author of A House for Everyone
Age-appropriate detail is given, and there are plenty of suggestions of resources for finding out more if interested. The illustrations are excellent, full of colour and factual detail, and proper medical language is used throughout. This is a really good introduction to the facts of life and will provide lots of information to those just starting out on the journey through their own sexual bodies.--Healthy Books
This book is fantastic! It's inclusive, medically accurate, gender affirming, body positive, and comprehensive in its delivery of the education young people need to understand bodies, identities, relationships, and sexual health. It delivers information using a tone that invites young people's curiosities and normalizes their unique experiences, coupled with beautifully diverse illustrations. This book is a must-have for youth, families, schools, and professionals working with young people.--Melissa Carnagey, founder of Sex Positive Families
This is a greatly needed book in our world right now. I hear from children, youth, parents, physicians, therapists and educators every week that they have a need for this type of comprehensive, clear, respectful and inclusive information. Rachel has done an incredible job of making the content relevant and relatable. We will all benefit from having this book to help young people know their bodies and feel good about their bodies, and for once - truly every body's body! Thank you Rachel.--Linda A. Hawkins, PhD, MSEd, LPC, is Co-Director of the Gender & Sexuality Development Clinic and a family services specialist at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

This is an amazing book for everyone who doesn’t want their children to be as ignorant, hateful and closed minded as such a large portion of our country. It’s for 8-11 year olds, but with any book for kids you should read it yourself first and then selectively choose chapters to share with your children as you feel they are emotionally mature enough. With that being said- if you don’t educate your children, they’re going to be improperly be educated by their friends. So get ahead of the game so they feel comfortable asking you questions forever, and long before the world tells them bodies are something to be ashamed of. My six year old has learned about body parts by my side and my 8 year old has been curious enough that we’ve gone through more chapters together. Honestly, the world would be a much safer place if many adults educated themselves with this book as well.
