Rob Gieselmann is an Episcopal priest and writer educated also in law and economics. He has served six parishes: Ascension (Knoxville, TN), St. Stephen's (Belvedere, CA), Christ Church (Sausalito, CA), St. Paul's (Chestertown, MD), St. Thomas (Sun Valley, ID) and St. Luke's (Cleveland, TN). Rob earned his Master of Divinity at the University of the South and his other degrees from both Auburn University and the University of Tennessee.


He has published three books: Irony and Jesus (2019), The Episcopal Call to Love, and A Walk through the Churchyard and is contributor to and editor of the Speaking to the Soul page of Episcopal Cafe (episcopalcafe.com). The father of two grown children, Rob experiences God most digging in black soil or trodding well-worn paths through the countryside.
