Q: Why don’t you have a U Kosher certification if the enzymes are vegetarian? What is not kosher about it?

  • A: Hello, thank you for reaching out! Tillamook cheeses are currently made in a way that is kosher-friendly in terms of ingredients and production. In fact, our regular Medium Cheddar cheese is identical to the Kosher Medium Cheddar. However, we currently only have the one cheese (Kosher Medium Cheddar) that is officially certified as kosher and advertised as such on packaging, since there needs to be a rabbi present during the production of kosher certified foods, and it is not currently feasible for this to be the case for us with all of the cheese we make every day of the year.   • A: Hi Nick, thank you for your question. It is called a loaf because the cheese is formed into an oblong rectangular shape. We have been making cheese loaves since the mid-1920s. The term 'Baby Loaf' originated in the 1930s as a trademark for our 2lb loaves for use in catalogs and advertisements, and the name is still used to reference our 2lb loaves today! Historically, we have also made gems, horns, and brick styles of cheese. I hope this is helps!

    Easy in the go, goodnesss!

    The only cheese my five year old will eat willingly. Love that it comes in a small square that can easily be taken on the go. Tastes great, not bitter, and has a great aftertaste. I know just one square is enough to give my child a healthy delicious snack.

    Portable and tasty

    These cheese snacks are great on the go! When we go boating, they are great to have around because they’re individually wrapped, making them very portable. Best of all, they taste just like Tillamook cheese right off the block!

    Nothing beats this cheese and the farmers that refuse to sell out to private equity. Their quality is obvious when you try it!! It’s the best cheese on the market by far.

    Good medium cheddar for all cheese needs

    Nice medium cheddar with a smooth taste and no aftertaste. Also does not seem to make me as gassy as other cheddars. Finally did mold but only after over a month. Nice cheese to cut up for snacks or shred for salads

    My kids absolutely love these cheese smackers. Perfect to eat plain or with some crackers. Tillamook has the best quality of cheese. They are packaged well and taste fresh. Not crumbly, smells delicious, and leaves you wanting to eat the whole bag! Staple in my fridge.

    Tillamook is top-tier!

    I will be coming out of the gate strong with this review.. I love Tillamook cheese so much that it is to the point that I even have a plush of one of their cheese blocks. Whenever I’m grocery shopping, I am always going to grab some Tillamook. The flavor of these cheese snacks is rich, creamy, and consistently delicious. The portions are especially great for tossing in my lunch bag, taking with me on a road trip, or just keeping around in the fridge for when I want to do a girl dinner. Honestly, I don’t think I have ever had a Tillamook product that I didn’t like. I definitely recommend these cheese snack packs or anything from this brand!

    We love Tillamook cheese. We usually go with the medium cheddar. We put it on hamburgers when we bbq. It’s a great snack. We buy a lot of Tillamook brand because it’s always good.

    These are my favorite cheese snacks and I really can’t keep them in the house or I will eat them so quickly. I usually pair them with either a flavored Triscuit cracker (rosemary!) or a Miltons cracker but really any cracker will do. The only thing I don’t like is when they get a little warm as they get so soft, but they still taste good!

    It's cheddar cheese. What more can you ask for? Once the package is open, use it within a week or else it may get moldy. I like to use it with a slice of American cheese when making grilled cheese. Makes the cheese pull satisfying.

    LOVE this medium thick cut cheddar

    I LOVE this cheese. The thick cut style shredded cheese is the absolutely best. Medium cheddar is the perfect in between of cheddar. It's hard to find this style cut in cheese, and it's so good. Packaging is easy to use.

    I’ve bought this Tillamook cheese multiple times for it’s great quality and freshness, not sticky at all like some other brands cheese. They always taste fresh and delicious love making grilled cheese sandwiches with this cheese.
