I put it on my porch for better lighting and a nicer porch. You do have to tie the wires into each other so I suggest an electrician

Ir came with plenty of chain to be able to give the desired length needed. Very nicely made. Was pretty easy to assemble and get into place. Very bright, gives good visibility at night.
