Best Trimmer I've ever used!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been trimming bushes for 49 years. This is, by far, the best cutting trimmer I've ever had! A friend borrowed it for huge 30-year-old holly bushes and it cut through like butter! I never have to go over an area twice, which has cut my trimming time in half!

Doesn’t cut cleanly - instead it chews up leaves
Bought to replace my old hedge trimmer used to prune monkey grass every spring. This trimmer doesn’t cleanly cut through the leaves - instead it chews them up, significantly damaging the plant.

All around good trimmer

It's a corded electric trimmer which saves you on the constant charging time and over priced batteries of some of the more expensive trimmers. If you are looking for a cheaper solution to trimming your hedges this is it.

Toro Hedge Trimmer Is Superior To The Other Brand
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The model 51490 22 inch hedge trimmer is superior compared to the 14 inch non-Toro trimmer that I had been using. The Toro cuts through branches that caused my previous hedge trimmer to jam, requiring me to hit the end of the trimmer on the ground or the driveway to undo the jam and get it cutting again. With the 22 inch blade, I could reach further into the hedge without cutting my arms on the branches closest to my body. I also like the way you plug an extension cord into the trimmer. I am thoroughly satisfied with my Toro hedge trimmer.
