Sun Joe IONMAX Cordless Lawn Care System, Grass and Hedge Trimmer with Pole Saw

No replacement parts for the trimmer. Rest is good, but you will need another trimmer.

The replacement string trimmer line is not available .... and being a now 70 yo female, the chain saw on the attachment is virtually non usuable for me, it is toooooo heavy to lift. The trimmer is great but they don't have replacement spools.

FIRST I HAD TO WAIT SEVERAL MONTHS FOR THE LINE FOR MY STRING TRIMMER AND ONCE I RECEIVED THE STRING MY SON WAS USING THE STRING TRIMMER AND THE SECTION BETWEEN THE ADJUSTING JOINT AND WHERE IT PLUGS INTO THE EXTENSION ARM BROKE AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO BUY THESE PARTS ORE A NEW NEW HEAD HOR OVER 6 MONTHS AND SUNJOE HAS STOPPED RESPONDING.

The design of the hedge trimmer couldn’t be worse. The handle is so far away from the trimmer that the average person will have a difficult time. Why didn’t you create an adjustable handle so you could manage and control it! The saw is good, the weed eater is too tall for me. I’m sure there is something better out there.

Very nice and easy to use. The pole allows for reaching without a ladder. A Non-Pole Handle for the Sun Joe GTS4001C 24-Volt iON+ Cordless Lawn Care System Kit would be great! That would be very handy for the Blower and the Hedge Trimmer without the bulk of the pole assembly.

Works easily, BUT blades break too easy ... went through 3 within 15 minutes just around board fencing! CANNOT find replacement blades on site! Not worth anything without the blades!!!

I have used this product and found it to be a blessing! It makes trimming hedges and cutting tree branches easy. No gasoline smell. No oil and gasoline mixtures. No power cords. Didn't know how much I delayed during things around the yard. Found myself during my neighbor's yard. It's so convenient. Easy to get it going and easy to put it away.

I have used this equipment for two seasons. Everything worked great the first season, but the string trimmer and chainsaw broke during the second season. The trimmer doesn't auto-spool anymore and it is very annoying to manually thread it every minute. The chainsaw hard broke (plastic housing split into two pieces) and has to be replaced.

An excellent kit for light duty yard work. Only problem is replacement line for the trimmer. .055 line is impossible to find in the U.S. and with a single strand doing the trimming it runs out quickly. Any suggestions?

Well, it's another very decent tool, or I'd rather say tools, from Sun Joe. First, the least impressive one, the edge trimmer. Outside from a weird vibration from the plastic roller and the thin cutting wire, it does the job better than some reviews mention. You won't clear a forest with this one but it can easily remove the unwanted weed from around the house easily. The inclining head is perfect to set it at your favorite angle. Wire feeding is automatic and seems to work well. The mini-chainsaw is surprising. It really does the job and it's more than sufficiently powerful. The chain quality is not at the level of the dedicated Sun Joe chainsaws but it's not important here. The edge trimmer is awesome. This thing cuts! The blades are super sharp and cut easily branches that I thought would jam it. It is more than sufficiently powerful. The head can incline at many common angles, allowing you to properly shape your hedges. On top of this, there is the very sturdy pole. A very well placed padding eases the grip. The optional handle (provided with the kit) can be installed for a better grip. The pole can be lengthened by about 3 feet using the mid-section tube. This one is metallic. The construction seems very sturdy (only time will tell). The kit comes with a 2.0 Ah 24v battery. I was able to trim the grass and perform several cuts on bushes using less than 50% of it. Seems very decent. If you have other 24v Sun Joe batteries (like for the very good 24V-X2-17LM lawn mower), you can run for a very long time. Be aware that with the tools on the elongated pole, you need some additional elbow grease to maintain the whole thing in the air. And as always, STAY CLEAR FROM THE ELECTRICAL WIRES! I removed a star because of the edge trimmer plastic guard that could be sturdier and the sub-par charger included. I just don't get why Sun Joe keeps providing dumb chargers when they do have the proper ones (for few $ more). Overall, I recommend this kit.

I purchased this product back in 6-28-2019, I just love it, easy to put the tools together and light to handle the work I need to do. I'm glad to have ordered this, thank you Sun Joe.

Great system. I used the hedge trimmer for about an hour on and off and the battery was still 2/3's charged. The trimmer had lots of power and cut thru larger branches. Better than my plug in electric trimmer and the weight is much better. Great Product.....

was about to purchase a new weed wacker, and rent a tree pruner....saw this product by chance and realized it was a great deal! the pruner is easy to use and powerful, weed wacker is also powerful and easy to handle Hedge trimmer again was powerful and easier to handle once you make the handle shorter for better control Better life is great and allowed me to use for the entire afternoon without losing strength I definitely recommend this product

This is a Good set. Not hard to figure out. It's a little heavy for this 65 yr woman. Battery lasts a decent time length, around 1hr. Wish there was a way to make it a little shorter but the extension pole is nice if needed.

This three in one tool is simple to assemble, lots of power and great battery life.

I only wish that the hedge trimmer attachment could be made to connect directly to the power handle instead of having to contend with the long tube. Same with the pole saw.

These items work real well and battery lasts as stated. A very good purchase.

I was not impressed at first, but I Tried it and was so surprised that it worked so very well I changed heads and the next one worked as well or better. I enjoyed how well it ran and worked. I will buy more Sun Joe tools. Glad I tried it. Thanks for proving wrong. John
