Description
Changing the game of lawn care, one yard at a time, the GT Revolution is 3 lawn manicuring tools in one. Converts almost instantly from a trimmer, to an in-line wheeled edger, to a mini-mower, so you get a professional-looking lawn that’s easier to maintain and costs less time and money. This is so much more than a weed-eater. It’s a Revolution.
At less than 6 lbs, and with a telescoping shaft, 7 handle, and 6 rotating head positions, almost anyone can comfortably use the Revolution. The shaft is a full foot longer than the original GT, and the grips are ergonomically designed to give the user a firm handle on each of the three functions. And when you want to switch from trimmer to edger or mini-mower, it’s just a push of a button and a turn of the head. No tools needed.
It’s powerful, too! Spinning at 7600 revs/min and running on the same 20V 4.0 Ah Powershare battery that powers our chainsaws, the GT makes nice, clean cuts. The patented Command Feed system gives you fresh line whenever you need it—no bumping or auto-feed. With an extra spool holder right on the handle, if you do run out of line in the field, you can just pop in your extra spool without a trip back to the shed.

Bought Worx trimmer as I knew the quality of Worx equipment from past purchases. Though well made I ddidn't find this particular piece of equipment as good as others I have purchased. I purchased the string trimmer and the edger as I was skeptical of using the trimmer as an edger. I found this to be a wise decision.

Trimmer design is hard to figure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I agree with Michael who posted this 4 months ago. #This is overall a great trimmer. I like it's ease of use and functionality. When my old original one died after 6 years I immediately purchased the updated version shown here. Less than a year later I had to have it replaced under warranty because of the worst part of this trimmers design. The locking mechanism and how it ratchets to change from trimming to edging. That part just broke apart inside. I have been using the replacement for about a year and it too is showing signs of breaking. It is so stiff and hard to move from trimmer to edger and when it does the ratcheting mechanism just pops and makes such loud noises I know at any moment it too will break apart inside. Come on Worx. Change that design so it's smooth and doesn't have that ratcheting mechanism inside." I wish the company would reply to this email because we are all experiencing the same problem.

Until they change the parts or design of the locking mechanism this product is garbage. After 1 year had to ask for a replacement, now another year later and the same problem occurred. They refuse to send me a replacement for that one. I'm sure they are still selling the same crap designed tool. Going back to Ryobi.

Disappointed

I had a smaller version for many years. For most of those years it would not feed the line. I would have to stop and do it by hand. Finally decided to buy a new one. Bought this one with the auto feed button. Very disappointed to find out it isn't much better. Even when you push the button several times it doesn't feed enough line. And the handle isn't tight it wobbles. Couldn't find another brand that was as light weight as Worx. Which is why I bought another one .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a number of tools from Worx. Garden tool and tools for work. I like that the batteries are interchangeable and I find they last long enough to finish. I also had one issue with my trimmer blades and Worx exchange the blades at no cost. I would definitely recommend their products

I have had several Worx products for the last 14 years and happy with all of them. I like the fact that the batteries can be used on different types of equipment. The only piece of equipment where the batteries can’t be used is my hedge trimmer because it’s takes a 56 volt battery. I like my hedge trimmer. The battery has a long life. It’s the best trimmer I have ever had.

My new edger works great. I fealty love the mower part. I have a 10 foot square area I use it on. I used to fight to get a mower into that area but now I just finish it off after I am done edging. Also, the auto feed for the trimmer line was a great addition to already good machine.

I started using my 3rd. Weed eater from Worx last week! They’re the only one I want for the remainder of my life! Although at 73 now #3 is probably going to be my last one! I ordered my first one back in the early 2000’s . I had a very small patch of grass for my dogs that I thought this electric weeding thing would work, and it worked great, so much so that when I had moved to a larger place and needed a new one I got the newer one and have done this 3x now!

I bought this trimmer for its two in 1 feature, telescopic wand, and lightness. My major complaint is regarding the wheel to turn it from an edger to a trimmer. It's a pain to take it on and off and the plastic is not high quality so I bet it will break soon.

Hello Allison! Thank you for sharing your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. The wheels would be considered normal wear and tear on the trimmer, however, we always have spare wheels on hand if you ever need them!
