Nice idea but..
Nice idea but this toy would need to be used by a six-year-old or older. It takes a lot of force. I’m not sure what they were thinking and they designed this toy, but a button would have been way better I was expecting lights or sounds but there wasn’t. It was a gift for my three year-old however he could not use enough force. My six-year-old does play with it though.

Unfortunately the reviews were right, you have to have a substantial punch for this to effectively shoot the discs. My three year old cannot get it to shoot, but my 5 year old can sometimes. If it weren’t for destroyed packaging, I’d have returned it and ordered the one now listed on Disney’s website that’s button activated.

Don't waste your money
So disappointed in this item. I came to the reviews to figure out how to use the toy and saw so many bad reviews about it being hard to use. You have to throw a hard punch to make the discs come out and I absolutely do not like that. I feel like that’s not at all appropriate for the minimum age of 3 years old like it specifies. I’m 31 and had to throw a really hard punch for the disc to eject and that’s not okay for a child to do. It should be button activated. I will be returning.

disappointed
My 4 year old got this for his birthday. He wanted it so badly and was so excited when he got it. When he opened it and tried to shoot it, he was extremely disappointed. He could not get it to shoot. I wish there was a push button on this toy. It said 4+ on the package but my 4 year old and 6 year old both couldn't get it to work. I will be putting it back in the packaging to try to return it to the store.

Wouldnt recommend
For the price it should at least have noises or light. Also I thought you would push the button and they would shot but you have to throw a punch and they will shoot out and it’s impossible for a younger child to do it because it has to be done with strong force. It also feels cheap

Do Not Buy!
Cool concept. Terrible execution. As other reviewers mentioned, the disc thrower is extremely difficult (actually impossible for my 4 year old) to use. It needs the force of an adult arm. My son was very disappointed. Save your money and your frustration.

Flawed design
Cool concept, but the action required to expell the disc is hard for a 4 year old. You really have to "punch it" to make the discs leave. Also, they should have made a storage cubby for the 10 discs. You can only fit 5 in the unit at a time and the other 5 have no place to store. The glow in the dark feature is cool. Buzz lightyear wings do not open up, which is lame.
