The bread itself tastes great but I am absolutely fed up with the false advertising. The produce name says "sliced" in it and the photo of the bread clearly shows it to be sliced as well. Yet my store NEVER provides it sliced. NEVER!!! I hope whomever at Target reads these reviews before publishing them will contact my store and inform the manager of the bakeries routine failure to slice bread loaves which are being advertised and sold as "sliced".

Favorite Bread Has Now Shrunk to Half the Size With Little Price Reduction
I would rate this 28 oz size a 5, BUT went to Target today to buy some and found they now only sell this in a 14 oz size with the loaf shrinking in all directions, so each slice is very small. It is no longer a good size for toast, sandwiches, etc. The new loaf also sells for $3.99, so you now get half the weight for only an 18% cost reduction. This bread was my go-to bread for paninis, avocado toast, regular toast, bread pudding, and egg bakes due to it's flavor and density. I won't be buying anymore given the new size and price.

Best bread from a store
This bread is great. We buy multiple loaves -- when we can find it -- and keep them in the freezer. Chewy crust. Soft inside. Good rustic texture. It seems to sell out fast, so please make more and keep it in stock. We couldn't find it for a long time in 2023 and were very sad. Now you can find it on occasion in late fall. Please make more and make it often.
