    Burning smell

Started out great but after a while mine started having a terrible burning rubber smell. When I went to unplug the power bug was really hot. This is going to in the garbage. Don’t want my house to burn down. I cannot recommend.

Does not hold my phone out

I received the power bug as part of a BREO subscription box. The magnet is not strong enough to hold up my iPhone 11. Real bummer because this is one of the items I was looking forward to receiving in the box.

    Nice Puck!

Works well! I just leave it in my garage above the workbench. Holds the phone and shows the time in standby mode.

    Terrific product!

I ordered two PowerBugs, one in each color. I'm saving the other one as a Valentine's Day ❤️gift to my hubby. (Shh!) Mine is great. My iPhone adheres to the magnet (through its case) and I can plug in my iPad, AirPods, or Apple Watch charger on the side of the Bug. Very functional, portable, and doesn't take up much space. I plan to buy a couple more.

    Great Compact iPhone Charger

Power Bug is a wonderful and efficient iPhone charger. I like that I can connect “magnetically” to the surface of the charger while it’s plugged into an outlet. It’s very convenient. I can also add a usb cord to connect to my phone for charging. I’m going to buy several more of these for myself and as gifts.

Works great but I had to buy a different phone case so it would stay on the charger. But I love that there are no cords!

    Beware - does not charge.

Just received this. Plugged it in our kitchen. Showed it was charging ... for about 10 seconds and then doesn’t charge anymore. Tried it on multiple phones and outlets with the same result. Thought this was too good to be true. Turns out it was! Will be sending this back. With all the social media advertisements, hard to trust things like this that just pop up!

    Nice! But...

Overall I am glad to have gotten the PowerBug. My iPhone 12 sticks to it just fine and is perfectly positioned for using Paprika in the kitchen. My wife’s iPhone 12 Pro Max doesn’t hold so well. If I put it in portrait mode and place it verrry gingerly, making sure that it’s grabbing before letting go, it will probably stay up. Landscape? Forget it. Still, I like the idea and have decided to try my hand at some woodwork to create a little something that will support her phone on there. Failing that, there’s messing around with 3D printing.
