Unqualified Apologetics - by Travis Kerns & Jared C Wellman (Paperback)

About the Book

Unqualified Apologetics equips ordinary Christians to defend their faith with confidence by returning apologetics to its biblical foundations.

Book Synopsis

Unqualified Apologetics: A Biblical-Theological Approach brings the task of apologetics back from the academy and places it into the hands of ordinary Christians by embracing a return to a biblical mode for defending the faith. Authors Travis Kerns and Jared Wellman argue that apologetics is the task of every Christian, and that scripture provides the tools for each believer, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to give a reason for the hope that they have in Christ.

Kerns and Wellman build a biblical and theological case for this kind of 'unqualified' apologetics, eschewing systems and aspiring to equip ordinary believers to present reasons for their hope. Readers will emerge from this book with a new appreciation for how scripture provides the necessary tools for every Christian both to share and to defend their faith.
