Book Synopsis
A clever book of transformations! Each image transforms into its opposite when the book is flipped upside down. See "up" become "down" and "high" become "low" in this engaging book for babies and toddlers. With rhyming text that be read both the right way up and upside down, it's a great introduction to first words and opposites for little ones who like to explore through reading and play. There's spot UV on every spread for added sensory exploration, and it's all brought together with fun illustrations from acclaimed illustrator Matt Hunt.
Review Quotes
This title encourages youngsters to flip the book on each and every double-page spread to experience the opposite. A bird flies high, but when turned over is headed in descent. A snail in the rain stays dry by clinging below the leaf, but gets wet when the book is reoriented. McLean's rhyming text flows smoothly and pairs well with Hunt's clean, soft-toned graphics. Also in the series: Upside Down Animals.--Horn Book
