Views from the Overlook - by Jamie Flanagan (Paperback)

Book Synopsis

A brand-new, chilling anthology of short stories set in the most famous haunted hotel in fiction, inspired by Stephen King's iconic #1 New York Times bestseller, The Shining

Jack Torrance's poison may have been alcohol, but there are many drugs of choice--ambition, wealth, status--and all of them are tantalizingly close at hand at the Overlook Hotel. Immortalized in Stephen King's 1977 novel The Shining, the Overlook Hotel occupies a central role in the horror universe. Nestled within its sprawling grounds and labyrinthine hallways are endless unimaginable horrors--looming topiaries come to life, a never-ending masquerade, the undead ghosts of patrons grasping for company. The Overlook may have been destroyed alongside its final caretaker, but its legacy--and the terrors it contains--live on.

In Views from the Overlook, over thirty of this generation's greatest dark fiction writers have come together to make sure of that, chronicling the many guests, employees, and spirits in the hotel's history. Featuring stories by bestselling and award-winning authors such as Silvia Moreno-Garcia, Daniel Kraus, and Paul Tremblay, Views from the Overlook offers a new set of scares that's sure to thrill the most discerning guest.
