Cats that weigh 3 pounds or more can safely use Litter-Robot 4 in automatic mode, while kittens that weigh 5 pounds or more can use Litter-Robot 3 (with or without Connect) in automatic mode. If your cat or kitten does not meet this minimum weight, you may still use Litter-Robot in “semi-automatic” mode by turning it off and only turning it on to perform a clean cycle from the app or directly on the unit.

Litter Robot FTW!
Litter-Robot works great! We’ve been using it for about a month. One thing to note is that the whisker litter doesn’t seal the clumps as good as some other brands so just be mindful of that.

I absolutely love the litter robot. It makes having two cats so much easier. I only have to change the drawer once a week. Great odor control. I face it ti the wall because one of my cats likes to leap out of it so by facing it to the wall there’s less scatter. 10/10 would recommend. The refurbished litter robot looked brand new. No issues since I got it 2 months ago. It is bigger than expected so definitely measure before buying

Works but has quirks
I bought a brand new unit and then picked up a reconditioned unit. I love the Litter Robot 4. Next time I'll go with another new unit. The refurb one works but compared to the new unit I see differences. The refurb keeps saying lens dirty - even though it was brand new (to me). I have learned to ignore the alert as the unit works and I can't seem to clean the lens.

I did get a used litter robot so I don’t know if that’s the reason to me having issues connecting it to my phone. But it still works whether it’s connected or not, I just have to check on it rather than being able to check the app if there’s something wrong. But my cat loves it and I do too! At first she would just lay in it lol. But It really does help with the smell and it’s amazing if you barely have time but don’t want your pet to be neglected. Yes it’s pricy but it’s definitely worth it, I hope it lasts me many many years..

This is our 4th Litter Robot
We love this version! Very Very quiet! I am hoping that it lasts a long time. The previous version had an issue with sensors corroding in a humid environment. Hoping that is not the case any longer.

worked for a week and wouldn't turn to empty, and a red light is all it does. I called for a replacement, but line was busy for weeks. after a few weeks of not having a working litter box i crafted one out of the box it came it. got the new unit. it also worked great but this time for a month or 2 so 90day return was up. hope this helps! the box it came it worked great and for longer.

I could not love the litter robot more.
I have two cats and after I got the 2nd one, the litter scooping became much more of a chore. This product makes it so I don’t have to even think about it. It’s worth every penny.

Worth every penny
I have 4 cats. I had 4 litter boxes and struggled to keep up with them. Now I have one litter robot, and it has taken such a weight off of my every day life. Any sense of cat odor is gone in my home, and I only have to empty waste drawer every few days.

Loving it!
We’ve been using our litter robot for about 3 weeks and it’s been great. All three of our cats took to it quickly. The app and the weight sensor have been helpful so I could track that everyone is using it regularly. Highly recommend if you’re as sick of scooping litter as I was!

Loved my Litter Robot 3, but it finally died after 5 years of good service. The Litter Robot 4 seems to be an upgrade in every way so far. Very quiet and easy to keep clean. Also love that I can check how full it is from my phone Have two cats and only need to empty it ever 7-9 days so far.

A learning curve - but FABULOUS
This has been an amazing investment for my studio condo with two cats. However, I will warn that one of my cats was very hesitant and scared of it at first. I would HIGHLY recommend not plugging the machine in for about a week and just use it as a litter box. I plugged it in right away and took away the other litter box as my cats move around locations and do well with any container full of litter. However, one of my cats actually peed in my house when I first got the Litter Robot. I had to bring back my old litter box, let it get rancid over the week and then routinely placed my one cat in the litter robot with some of its pee clumps multiple times a day to try and get it trained. THANKFULLY it worked. I think I could have avoided this by just not plugging it in from the start and waiting my cats to get used to it before making it turn on! Highly recommend! There is some litter that accumulates around the machine from the cats jumping out. But, I highly prefer sweeping that than scooping clumps!

So far so good
Have had this litter robot for a couple months and, so far, it is working great. At least two cats are using it regularly and the 9 week old is going into it and it recognizes a cat has entered. If he is just watching it clean sometimes it will start up again but stops as soon as he moves. The cat recognition part is less precise than I would like even with the carpet base, but that’s just being picky. I love the app as well
