I saw it twice in the theater and went through a LOT of tissues. It's a lovely precious reminder of kindness and forgiveness. We are all loved, and are each of us worthy of respect for our differences and unique qualities. This was his ministry; Fred Rogers was a beautiful soul, and I wish we had more like him. Watch this film. See what compassion looked like in the flesh. Let your soul be warmed and restored.

Oh my gosh. Was looking to purchase my very own copy of this lovely documentary. I saw it twice in the theatre, once with my husband and once with 8 year old grand daughter and friend who is blind. We all enjoyed it. Hard to sit through it without crying at the gift we still have in Fred Rogers. As I read the reviews I teared up again. This is going to be my go-to gift this Christmas. Not a person on earth that would not be warmed by the message and the man.

The perfect gift for most anyone. This remarkable documentary will restore your faith and fill you with fresh courage to face the challenges of our world. This movie changed the way I look at my life - and at the world - and it did the same for members of our family. One one level, it is a breathtaking biography of Fred Rogers, but on a much deeper level, it is about each of us, who we are, how we need one another, how we treat one another, and our life's purpose. This movie has been enthusiastically embraced by people of all political stripes, by communities of faith, and by those who do not believe. But we all seem to share Mr Rogers' belief that love is at the root of everything: all learning, all parenting, all relationships. Love, or the lack of it. Buy this. Watch it. Make glad your heart. Restore your soul.

This is one amazing film! It outlines the Life and Legacy of Fred Rogers, Creator and host of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. I used to watch Mister Rogers Neighborhood when I was a Youngster. I can still remember the lessons I learned and how magical It was. Especially the Land of Make Believe. I remember wanting to meet all of the characters in person as if they were real. Many years later, I would be sitting in front of the television watching it with my toddler son. I must be honest, the show is just as magical for me to watch now as it was back then. This film tells the story about the show itself. How it came to be and the challenges Fred Rogers faced and keeping it going. It also talks about why the show was so important to him. Although Fred Rogers never had the opportunity to watch his own show as a young child, he absolutely knew the positive impact the show's subject matter would have on a child's development. You don't want to miss this true, heartwarming story.
