Most feeding-feature dolls are marketed for preschoolers (commonly 3 years and up). Simpler “first” dolls may be intended for younger toddlers, around 1 year old.
Some dolls with sounds or moving parts require batteries (for example, models may list 3 AA alkaline). Many pretend-food or blender-style feeding toys operate without batteries.
Follow the product instructions, but generally spot-clean or wipe accessories and surface-clean interactive dolls and blenders. Most manufacturers advise against full submersion for electronic or moving-part items.
You open a powdered packet, mix it with the specified small amount of water in the toy blender (instructions may note 3 tsp / 15 ml), press the blender to mix, then feed the doll. The powdered food is not edible, may stain, and some products are not reusable.
Some dolls wet or “poop” a diaper after feeding; others simulate a potty response when you squeeze their tummy, enabling a diaper-change or potty-play sequence.
