Infant sweatsuits and rompers are offered in both long-sleeve and short-sleeve styles.

Many baby styles use crotch snaps and/or snaps at the back collar (and sometimes along the front placket) to speed dressing and diaper changes and to keep the neckline comfortable during pull-over dressing.

Sizes are listed in standard infant ranges (for example, 0–3 months up to 18–24 months). Many items are described as true to size; some brands recommend sizing up if your baby is between sizes. Thermal coveralls are typically offered across the same infant size range.

Some styles incorporate recycled fibers (recycled cotton or recycled polyester) and small amounts of spandex for stretch. Examples shown include blends with around 5% recycled cotton or 5% spandex, and options such as 60% cotton/40% recycled polyester.

Common neckline and collar options include hooded necklines, round or crew necks, and polo-style collars, depending on the style.
