Most listings specify stainless steel or aluminum construction; a few use the generic term “metal” without specifying the alloy.

Gate styles shown include wire gates (common on key carabiners), at least one bent gate, and double‑gated designs used on S‑biner style clips.

Reported ratings range from about 25 lb for some small lockable clips up to around 40 lb for a dual carabiner; the rope‑tightener variant lists a 150 lb working load limit.

The rope‑tightener listing specifies a 150 lb working load limit and compatibility with rope from 1/8 in (3 mm) up to 3/8 in (9 mm).

Some listings include a small‑parts choking warning for children. At least one mini lock model notes it is not for use where disengagement could cause injury or property damage and explicitly states it is not for climbing.
