Most cheeky bottoms feature a full lining. For polyester/PBT styles the lining is commonly 100% polyester; other constructions also typically use a full lining to provide opacity and structure.

Hand wash and lay flat to dry. For performance styles, rinse with clean water after each use (to remove chlorine, salt, and sunscreen) and then lay flat to dry to preserve fit and fabric.

Some cheeky bottoms list UPF 50+ sun protection. Many performance styles are engineered to resist chlorine, saltwater, and sunscreen—improving longevity and color retention compared with standard fabrics.

Coverage ranges across cheeky styles: most are labeled 'cheeky' (moderate rear exposure), some are 'super cheeky' (minimal coverage), and a few are described as 'moderate' for fuller rear coverage.

Most cheeky bottoms use a pull‑on closure. Many performance styles have a compressed, competition‑style fit and may not be adjustable, so check product notes if you prefer a looser fit.
