Labels commonly include a flammable warning. Additional cautions in some products advise consulting a doctor if you have kidney disease, waiting a few minutes after shaving before applying, and not using on broken skin.

Most antiperspirant dry sprays list a net weight of 3.8 ounces, while at least one aluminum‑free deodorant spray is listed at 3.5 ounces.
