These paints are formulated for a wide range of edible surfaces, including fondant, crusted buttercream/buttercream cakes (chilled), royal icing, sugar cookies, marshmallows, gold leaf/deco magic, confectionery, ganache, modeling chocolate, and chocolate or candy melts when applied in thin coats (use alcohol for quicker drying).

The paints are made from 100% edible ingredients and are supplied in a ready-to-use gel form in the bottle.

They’re ready to use: shake, pour, and paint directly from the bottle. No thinning is needed unless you want a watercolor effect or are painting chocolate/candy melts (see thinning guidance for those uses).

Use quality brushes for detailed work (manufacturer recommends a sable brush). Sponges are useful for texture and effects on buttercream, fondant, and royal icing. Stir the paint well before use.

Available net weights range from 0.5 ounces to 1.69 ounces.
