This item and the Harry Potter one from the same brand is downright terrible. Missing pieces, too stiff, unreadable, etc. this is the biggest waste of money I have ever encountered. Do not disappoint yourselves or your children. I wish I could give everything a 0 star rating.

Crumbling Barbie House!
My daughters were so disappointed… when they opened the Barbie House, it was broken in little pieces. I had it shipped because I couldn’t find it in the store… my mistake! I’ve included a photo. What a waste of money!

the biggest issue is the quality and amount of icing provided. There isn't enough to use for assembly and decorating. It also isn't strong enough to hold the cookies together. I had to use icing from a different kit because this one collapsed so many times. don't waste your money

Fun if you have the time and extra materials
I wouldn't recommend this for a young child unless they have an adult present to help. This house can be fun to build but it's not an easy one-- does require some extra materials and preparation. I had to melt the icing in the microwave to make it easier to spread. I also mixed extra icing with it. having extra candies on hand isn't a bad idea either-- I used marshmallows to hide the gap in the roof! it turned out cute

Sooo small and has a big hole in the roof!!
False advertising!! I got this for my gingerbread house competition and it was literally 4in tall. Very misleading when the house on the box is way bigger than the actual house. Also the way the roof is made leaves a 1in gap in the roof which looks so stupid. I had to fill it with marshmallows! Had to make my own icing for it and use a hot glue gun to make it work. I made the best out of it but I got last place in my competition.

Always buy extra icing with any kind of kit… I’ve never had enough on any kits I’ve bought in the past … that being said I was prepared with extra icing This one was different and a lot of fun. None of my pieces broke or were cracked. If you go in prepared with extra icing this kit is a lot of fun
