Fabulous cooke house kit!
I purchased this for my 8 year old and we had a blast putting it together! We had no problem building the house. I did take the extra step of using the frosting to glue the pieces to a plate as we assembled this to give it more structure as it solidified. Pleanty of frosting is provided to securely "glue" the pieces together, and still have tons left to decorate. After it was assembled my daughter was able to take over and decorate her house to her heart's content! Lots of cute candies for decorating (and eating). At first I thouhgt the price as a tad steep, but after opening the package there are so many cute candies and multiple frostings that I feel the price is fair. I would highly reccomend and buy this set again!

Sturdy gingerbread and the white frosting def makes everything stick! The brown frosting didn’t look so great once dried (sort of oxidized, became lighter) and the red frosting was a bit of a harsh color (slightly less cherry red would look better) but still easy to pipe. I used some other sprinkles we had on hand to customize the design. Overall fun and would defiantly buy it again next year! (Pictures below I edited using digital background and such but the popcorn and all the house and kit pieces are real/were in the box)

I like Target’s gingerbread houses. This year they are getting real avaricious, they are trying to shill one gingerbread house in the shape of a Target store. But that’s besides the point. This one was fun to build, and the gingerbread is pretty good. You’ll need to find something to hold up the roof pieces while they dry, though. I used mugs.

Excellent Kit
This is probably the best gingerbread house kit we've ever purchased. The gingerbread pieces are nice and thick, so they are sturdy and remained unbroken on their long journey to our home. The icing is nice and sticky and sets pretty quickly. Also, there's plenty of it! There's a nice selection of decorations, and the small figurines were a nice surprise; we didn't realize they were included when we selected the kit. I highly recommend this one! We will not be posting photos of the house my child made... It's not about how it looks with these things. It's about how the pieces function, and this kit was truly excellent quality!

We’ve made quite a few gingerbread houses and the icing would not set to hold the house. A big waste of time and money.
