Most mirror-effect and specialty spray paints are formulated for glass and acrylic. Many product descriptions also list use on drywall, concrete, masonry, wood, vinyl, metal and various plastics; some specifically call out wicker and aluminum.
Some mirror-effect sprays are intended to be sprayed on the reverse (back) side of the glass so the mirror-like finish is protected behind the glass surface. Follow the product directions for the recommended side.
Common finishes include mirror/high-gloss reflective, metallic reflective finishes, and frosted or matte clear finishes that obscure vision while still letting light through.
Most mirror and specialty spray descriptions list interior (indoor) use. At least one product description notes both indoor and outdoor use on many surfaces. Always follow the product label for recommended locations.
