Most pod/egg‑style hanging chairs are designed for one person, though there are specifically sized double models that can seat two adults.

Cushions commonly have removable, zippered covers that are water‑resistant. Care instructions typically recommend spot cleaning or hand washing the covers, avoiding bleach and tumble drying. Follow the manufacturer’s label for specific washing guidance.

It depends on the listing: some pod chairs include a stand and hanging hardware, while others include only the chair and require you to purchase a stand or mounting hardware separately. Check the product details to confirm what’s included.

Many pod chairs come with a thick seat cushion plus a head pillow; cushions often have ties or zipper closures to secure them and feature removable, water‑resistant covers for easier cleaning.

Reported weights range roughly from about 20.8 to 50 pounds, with lightweight single chairs at the lower end and framed or stand‑included models toward the higher end.
