Oven ratings vary by material and model, but many sheet pans are rated up to roughly 425–500°F. Included racks and grids typically show ratings in the range of about 400°F up to 500°F depending on the set and material.
Some cooling grids are designed and labeled for oven use (for example, oven-safe nonstick or steel grids with a specified temperature rating). Other grids are explicitly described as not oven-safe and intended only for cooling, so always check the product labeling before using a rack in the oven.
Typical sets often pair a single baking sheet with one cooling rack. Some sets include two cooling grids plus the baking sheet, so common piece counts in examples range from two up to three pieces.
Common anti-warp and airflow features include reinforced or encapsulated steel rims to resist warping, diagonal stiffening ribs, and angled legs or raised grid designs that add rigidity while promoting airflow for crisper, more even results.
Some cooling racks feature stackable, tiered designs so you can cool many items at once while saving counter space. Other countertop drying racks split apart or collapse for compact storage.
