Garden flags commonly come in 12 x 18 inches, while larger house/porch flags are often listed at about 28 x 44 inches. Other sizes may appear, but these are the most typical measurements.

Common materials include polyester (often 100% or recycled polyester), polyester made to look like burlap, washable burlap or poly-burlap blends, and linen for some premium flags.

Many garden flags use a top sleeve that slips onto standard garden flag stands or flagpoles. Most listings also note that poles or mounting hardware are sold separately and are not included.

Care guidance varies: some flags recommend spot or wipe cleaning only, while others state hand or machine washing (commonly in water ≤45°C). Listings often advise avoiding long soaks and bleach unless the manufacturer specifies it is safe.

Listings commonly describe flags as durable, heavy-duty, or premium and note features like fade-resistance, UV resistance, or weather-resistant finishes for longer outdoor use.

Most listings specify a single flag per package—common labels include "Only 1pc" or "Includes: 1 Flag/Pennant."

Assembly requirements vary: some listings state "Adult assembly required," while others say "No assembly required." Many also note that poles or mounting hardware are not included and must be purchased separately.

Larger house flags are typically around 28 x 44 inches and some listings offer them double-sided. They are designed to fit regular flag stands or poles, but flag hardware is often sold separately.
