    Can't imagine packing lunch without one of these anymore

    These are great lunch boxes. I've been using the same one for almost 3 years with all sorts of food, wet and dry. They have saved thousands of sandwich and snack bags from entering the landfill. The trays are easy to wash and do just fine in the dishwasher. The outer shell, however, will warp and become difficult to close if you put them in the dishwasher. The gasket like seal will also degrade faster using the dishwasher to clean them or even by drying them with a rough hand. Best to hand wash the outer shell and allow to air dry, or pat dry. Some of these reviews talk about mold and how quickly they deteriorate but that has to be from improper care. I've accidentally left things in this over the weekend without mold developing. But over the holiday some blueberries were left inside for 4 days and tiny dark spots in the rubbery material over that compartment aren't washing away, could be mold, could be crushed blueberry bits that stained it. I'll never know. I do wish bentgo had a recycle program though. Improper care of these surely creates a bigger chunk of plastic that won't break down than a few hundred sandwich bags.

    Wish I would have bought one sooner!

    Pros and cons

    Positives: cute, colorful, well designed for kids to be able to clip themselves, and seems durable. Negatives: really small. I don’t feel that I can fit enough food in there for my preschooler with a big appetite.

    Adorable lunch box!

    I purchased the Bentgo Kids Prints Lunchbox for my daughter I could not be happier with my purchase! We got it in the puppy love print to match her Bentgo lunch bag, ice packs, water bottle, utensils and backpack. We did the mermaid scale print when she was in Montessori school through 1st grade and for 2nd grade this year, we went with the puppy print. She usually packs things like hummus, ketchup and yogurt and she doesn’t have to worry about them leaking in her lunch because the lunch box is leakproof. The tray is also microwaveable so we can heat up leftover lunch. It’s a great way to make sure she eats a healthy variety of foods and it keeps her eating for a while! We’ve been using Bentgo products for a while now. It’s also dishwasher friendly! I love how the rubber edges protect the box when dropped as well! She even wants to pack it on weekends lol.     Rainbows and unicorns

    The container is nicely made but has a hard time accommodating a small sandwhich. Even cut at an angle and shifted offset makes for a tricky fit.

    Fun designs, wish it was all dishwasher safe.

    Great! Love the design. I wish I could put the box in the dishwasher, getting around the seals can be tough but I understand the heat would ruin the seal which is the selling point! overall my kids love it! It’s always a game to guess what was put in the center.
