From Oatly's FAQ: Our oatmilks (aside from the Chocolate) don’t contain any added sweeteners like cane sugar, which is why they’re not listed as an ingredient. The sugar in our oatmilk is produced during our enzymatic production process. Basically, we use natural enzymes to liquefy our oats, which enables us to create a really creamy product that retains a lot of the nutrition from the original oat (like protein, unsaturated fats, fibers, and carbs). As part of this process, the enzymes break the starches in our oats down into smaller components, including simple sugar like maltose. It’s comparable to how the human body uses enzymes to break starches down into sugars during digestion. You can read more about this process here. FDA guidance on sugar labeling now provides that any sugar created during a product’s production process should be categorized as 'added', which is why these sugars are listed as 'added sugar' on our nutrition labels.

Grain Millers provides their farmers with a comprehensive support program that fosters a number of sustainable agricultural practices, including avoiding the use of glyphosate on their oats. In fact, Grain Millers has required that their farmers not use glyphosate on their oats since 2015 and conducts random, weekly sampling and testing to validate their farmers' compliance. You can read more about their glyphosate policy here. Additionally, our oatmilk is certified glyphosate residue free by The Detox Project. As part of this certification, we submit our finished oatmilk to a qualified third party lab on a random, quarterly basis to have it tested for glyphosate residue. The Barista Edition Oatmilk is a creamier oatmilk specifically designed specifically for foaming and frothing in coffee, if you’d like to take a look at that option.

      Only milk my daughter can digest

      My daughter never tolerated cows milk well even lactose free. It caused severe constipation. Once we switched her to oatley she no longer has any gi issues and she loves it. Wish it didn’t have seed oil. But she cannot tolerate or won’t drink any other milk.

      Charging CRV for Tetra Pak cartons?

      Not only have I received these damaged, but I’ve been charged for CRV. I’ve even called Target to have them fix it, but they continue to charge 30 cents per carton. I wish they’d bring the larger containers back. These small ones unfortunately aren’t worth the money and hassle.
