Core Dog Adjustable Rope Leash - 60" - Blue - Boots & Barkley™

Do not purchase!!!!!! This leash tightens around your hand as the dog pulls. It’s a terrible design. I ended up with actual rope burn on my hand. AVOID. The only reason I’m not turning it is because I threw out the tag.

Bought this because of the color- love it! But this item is dangerous. The loop where your hand goes slides and if the dog yanks, it can get extremely tight on your wrist QUICKLY. Very dangerous. It could also easily be a strangulation issue if use incorrectly. Target needs to pull this item and replace it with a fixed loop that doesn’t tighten when pulled on. Very bummed because we loved the color of it.

Broke after 2 days

terrible leash for dogs who pull. if you wrap the loop around your wrist, it will literally cut off circulation. terrible design that it would not just make the handle stop cinching more and more. do not recommend.

Broke on the first day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this leash. I like that the rope is round and not flat. The leash is both comfortable and stylish. I like the loop for my hand. The clasp is super easy to attach to the collar. And who doesn’t absolutely look fantastic walking their dog with this cutest pink color?! I feel this leash will last a long time. It is very sturdy!

Loved it until it broke after a few uses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is a Boston terrier and sadly does pull sometimes especially as he tries to get at a squirrel or rabbit. This leash has a really sturdy clip and has an even more rigid construction that holds up and doesn’t start to rip apart. We also often are watching other family members dogs and this has really been a great new leash for us!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This leash is adjustable on the strap which is a plus. It also has a small metal loop that can be used to attach to yourself as well. I really like the quality and the way it’s designed. It is really well made and my dog likes chewing on leashes but this leash is the exception. It’s a heavy duty leash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am satisfied with this new rope leash! It's not too thick but it still seems like a good quality leash. I could use this with my larger or smaller dogs. One of my favorite parts of the leash is the circle near the handle that you can use to clip things onto. I will be using this for my new poop bag holder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little hesitant to select this leash because I had never used one made of anything but a woven fabric material. I was pleasantly surprised with this biothane leash, because the material is sturdy and easily wipeable. Many times I get caught in the rain or just after the rain with my dog and the leash ends up soggy. This leash is fully water repellant, strong and seems resistant to breaks and tears. The pink color is especially vibrant and bubblegum-like and the hardware and stitching are both too-notch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super high quality leash. You can tell it’s super secure and suitable for an active dog. It has a super secure clasp that is still easy and intuitive to use. I really like the feel of this in my hand. It feels comfortable to use but also feels like I have control over the leash and I don’t have to worry about my pup running off to chase something.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fits so well to my pets style. I love how this fit. I would recommend to friends and family to try it out for themselves. I give it a 10 out of 10 for the meterial being strong for when your pet pulls on the leash. I want to see if they other options of leashes. It's very strong material that they can move around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the bright pink color of this dog leash. One thing that is a plus is that it’s not made from string and I know this is going to last a very long time. The feel to the leash is smooth to the touch and not overaly heavy compared to other leashes. Overall I really enjoy this dog leash for our walks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this leash for our large breed dogs - Australian Shepherd and German Shepherd. I love the length of this leash which allows them to be independent but also not too far from me. It is sturdy and I feel confident that it will hold if my fiestier dog tries to go running for another dog. I like the clasp that easily attaches to the collar. It also has a loop to put your hand in for comfort. Really great leash overall!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this peony color - it's a light shade of soft pink, which pairs perfectly with my female Yorkie. The material is like a harder silicone, which feels flexible and comfortable in hand. I was skeptical that it would be sturdy, but it certainly is! The length is generous to allow your dog space to run a bit more. This is definitely one of my new favorite dog leashes because of the color, its unique material, and overall quality. It's durable and cutsie!

Unfortunately, this leash was a huge disappointment. I purchased it today, and it broke less than six minutes into our very first walk. I also would not recommend this leash if you have a dog that pulls, as it didn’t feel sturdy or secure enough to handle much tension. I really wanted to love it because the color is beautiful, and I loved that the company offers a matching harness and poop bag holder. The whole set is super cute, but unfortunately, the quality of the leash just wasn’t there for me. I’ll be returning it and hopefully finding something that’s more durable and better suited for our walks.

Do not buy this leash the handle closes in on your wrist with any motion from the dog. I am going to return it. The bubblegum pink was so cute. I had no idea the leash handle retracts to literally wrap around a finger.

Will be returning- the handle tightens when the dog pulls and doesn’t offer good control

If your dog pulls like mine does, you will 100% regret this leash. I have a very strong puppy who doesn't understand the concept of STOP THAT F HURTS and will run at full speed while this thing nearly severs my wrist. I don't know why they decided to make a leash that's handle shrinks with the pull of your dog! If you have a well-trained adult dog who doesn't try to end you on daily walks, this is a great, cute leash. If you own an incredibly curious, strong-willed chaos monster like me, just don't.
