Core Rope Dog & Cat Leash - 60" - Black - Boots & Barkley™

Unfortunately, this leash was a huge disappointment. I purchased it today, and it broke less than six minutes into our very first walk. I also would not recommend this leash if you have a dog that pulls, as it didn’t feel sturdy or secure enough to handle much tension. I really wanted to love it because the color is beautiful, and I loved that the company offers a matching harness and poop bag holder. The whole set is super cute, but unfortunately, the quality of the leash just wasn’t there for me. I’ll be returning it and hopefully finding something that’s more durable and better suited for our walks.

Do not buy this leash the handle closes in on your wrist with any motion from the dog. I am going to return it. The bubblegum pink was so cute. I had no idea the leash handle retracts to literally wrap around a finger.

If your dog pulls like mine does, you will 100% regret this leash. I have a very strong puppy who doesn't understand the concept of STOP THAT F HURTS and will run at full speed while this thing nearly severs my wrist. I don't know why they decided to make a leash that's handle shrinks with the pull of your dog! If you have a well-trained adult dog who doesn't try to end you on daily walks, this is a great, cute leash. If you own an incredibly curious, strong-willed chaos monster like me, just don't.

I’m not sure how this leash is supposed to work. The handle tightens when my dog pulls so I basically have no handle.

The core rope feels comfortable under my hand and makes it feel really strong like my dog isn’t going to pull away and I’m able to hold onto them. I love the extra feature of the metal ring on the handle so that I could hang poop bags or something else. The latch is interesting because when you pull it down, it opens up on both sides making it easier to hook onto the dog collar. I think this is a great dog leash and even though I’m using it with my 10 pound dog, it would be great with a larger dog.

So, I got this strong rope leash that is also comfortable around my wrist for our adventurous walks. I like that it is a bright color, so other people can see the leash as they are walking towards us. The hook/clasp is very durable, yet easy to use.

It’s on the shorter a side so if you’re dog is used to roaming this is not for you. I like to keep my dog closer to me on walks so this is a perfect length. I love that it’s not adjustable and a traditional dog leash.

It’s buckle at the end is very strong well made and it won’t break on you. The length of the leash is not bad either, and I love the rubber grip to help ease the toughness of the leash. This is a great leash to add to your collection!

The class that hooks to the dog collar is nice and strong, and does not seem like it will break at all. The product that secures the leash ends, is rubberized, and feels great on your hands. It’s a perfect length of 6 foot. Sturdy enough for the heaviest of pullers on a leash but soft enough for a leisurely walk with one that walks nicely on a leash. The color is awesome.
