Where's the "beef"?
The lower rating is mainly for the fact that at $6.29, you get under 1 Cup of food & very very little tortilla mixed in. Generally speaking, it tasted good & healthy being organic, but still a tad on the bland side. I hate having to give any negative feedback on a product that at least offers organic/less infused chemical ingredients, but for that price, I would expect a much bigger serving & a bit more more flavor.

Recipe changed or I got a bad one
I buy Amy's meals regularly because I need quick easy lunch or I won't have time to eat. Normally I love this. The last one I got was easily 85% mushy corn tortilla, barely any beans or corn. How expensive are beans and corn that the company has to mess with the ratio? I'll give it one more try, but if they permanently ruined this for cost sake I won't be buying it again. Disgusting. Please go back to the previos recipe. The change is noticable and gross. There is also substantially less in the bowl than what I previously purchased.

SO much corn masa, too much in opinion.
I remember liking this a lot more years ago when I worked at a health food store and would often buy this for lunch. I bought it again recently, and was disappointed to find that its now mostly cubes of corn masa (looks like some other reviewers understandably mistook these as potatoes). It's just way starchy, I remembered it having more beans, corn and cheese back in the day.

I am shocked by the negative reviews…this has been my favorite Amy’s frozen meal for years, esp. since I can no longer find the tamales or coconut curry. The portion is generous, the ingredients are clean, and the flavor and texture are extremely satisfying. It is a very nice balance of ingredients but probably is on the blander side for those who are used to high sodium meals. Highly recommend trying it at least once.

Bit Bland Bowl
IIIIjJFJJFJFJKFLJIDELP[PD I was a little disappointed in this bowl. There were very few black beans (I think 7 in my whole bowl) and a whole lot of white corn masa, which I thought was potatoes. I wouldn't have guessed there were olives in it, and the tomatoes provided minimal flavor, if any. The corn was excellent in it, but it would be great to add onions and peppers, and a little heat to compensate for the lack of flavor. I appreciate that it was organic and somewhat healthy.

I wish there was more corn, beans, and cheese. Unfortunately it is instead overpowered by a somewhat flavorless red sauce and way too much masa bits. All of the ingredients are good, just not in the ratio that they're provided. Probably wont repurchase this one.
