The key to these is not to stir them too much so they get crispy! i use to babysit them in the pan, I love a crispy salty hash brown for breakfast. I think olive oil is the best flavor and doesn’t stick.

A large block of frozen shredded potatoes - good luck preparing that!
I only bought this because Target didn't have my usual hash-brown patties. When I tried to prepare this I was greeted with a large block of frozen shredded potatoes that I had to break apart and then had to try breaking that smaller block up again to heat it up. Never again and not recommended at all. Not sure what they were thinking producing this crap.

Best frozen hash browns available!
I love this brand of hash browns! I know they make a potato obrien version, but I love to slice up my own onions into fajita style strips with green peppers and sauteed them in butter prior to adding them into these hash browns. They are so fresh and always taste the same. Cooking each time is consistently crispy and easy on my non stick electric griddle. I love using these hash browns in chicken cheesy broccoli casseroles and in funeral potatoes too!

My go to hash brown when making cheesy potatoes; the potatoes stay hard, taste is great - I add little garlic salt to mine also great to make potato soup. Easy to store in freezer : I always use whole bag when making potato soup or cheesy potatoes. Great product and price is great!!

These shredded hash browns have become a weekend staple for us. We fry them lightly in a bit of vegetable oil and they come out perfectly crispy on the outside, soft inside, and not greasy at all. The texture is just right and the flavor is great on its own or, our personal favorite, is to put them in breakfast burritos with eggs and bacon. Half the batch disappears before I can even assemble the burritos because my kids are picking them straight out of the pan. Definitely a repeat buy in our house.
