Convenient
I got this for my husband who wanted easy breakfast options and its a go to now. We usually heat it up on the pan when cooking but have also tried the microwave, both come out great and its quick. Not too greasy and a good portion. The packaging has two sections so you can keep it fresh longer.

Easy to prepare
These sausage patties are so easy to prepare; 35 seconds and they are done. But, the taste is the problem. They are so salty that it overpowers the taste. After checking the label, we realized we were eating 1/4 of total salt intake and the saturated fat was 1/2 of daily recommended intake. We are so disappointed in this product as we have been fans of Jimmy Dean sausage for years (the ones that were not precooked)

Quality Has Declined
I used to like this product, but something is different with the last batch I bought. The flavor isn’t as good and the patties are rubbery. Some corporate stooge probably changed the recipe to save a buck. I won’t be purchasing again.

i've used this product for years and always thought it was the best but in the last few months something has changed.it takes longer to cook and tastes rubbery and less flavor.i'm sure this is a cost saving recipe change so no one in corporate will care.i'll just have to find another product.

Great quick breakfast item
I love that the Jimmy Dean pork sausage patties are fully cooked. That makes them easy to prepare and most importantly fast especially when we are usually short on time. It's not the best sausage as nothing compare to fresh home made in my books but it's a great alternative. One thing that I dislike is the salt content but that's probably standard for prepared foods.

Don't buy!!!!
I usually love all Jimmy Deans food items but these were absolutely disgusting. Not only the taste but the smell omg the smell and they taste just like they smell. I threw the whole package away :(

Precooked Breakfast Sausage Patties
I used to love these sausage patties and were the only ones I bought. The last few boxes instead of the sausage being crumbly it is rubbery.

Pork sausage patties have changed for the worst
For decades I have enjoyed JD's pork sausage patties. Then something changed. From the original box we now have a bag of patties apparently just dumped in. But the worst change is they don't taste or chew the same as the real originals. They are rubbery in texture and in the chewing. To me, they are not the patties I've loved. No more for me, thank you. It's back to bacon.

Fantastic breakfast on the run
I use the pork sausage patties with Hawaiian rolls for a great on the run breakfast. I will make 2 dozen at a time and freeze them. Absolutely delicious!

I got this delivered to my home and today’s date is October 29th,2024 and the use by or freeze date is Sept. 19th,2024 and in the store it was more than likely IN A REFRIGERATOR! I’m so upset. Does the store NOT check expiration dates of their stocked items? A WHOLE MONTH is crazy
