Tried this as a substitute for traditional breakfast sausage. If you had them side-by-side, you would know the difference but really they have the spiciness of sausage and the calories are very good and they’re made of turkey so they’re not too bad for you.

I love these Jimmy Dean turkey sausage patties. I'm a huge fan of sausage in the patty form. I like how they crisp up in a pan or air fryer. I love the flavor! Even though they are turkey, they have a similar flavor to their original sausage patties. Highly recommend!!!

My son was eating these daily (yes daily), but the past month he hasn't been eating them. And I agree. They have lost their spice or pepper. Shocked a 6 year old misses the heat, but I won't be buying anymore. Not sure if the recipe changed?

Okay if you like turkey sausage
For me these are okay. I've heard of the product is good enough then you can't tell it's turkey but I can definitely tell. The flavor is good except for the turkey taste. They brown nicely, not really greasy like other sausages, and easy to prepare. The texture is similar to pork sausage but for me the turkey doesn't really work well for sausage. It's okay but nothing I will purchase again and it definitely doesn't work for biscuits and gravy. The flavor is too off for that.

Taste amazing!!
I've been using these for months for meal-prepping my boyfriend's breakfasts and for my own breakfast sandwiches. They cook up perfectly every time and get surprisingly crispy for turkey sausage. Where rubber “meats” the salt lick.
Cooked in a pan. Was impressed with the browning. It happened pretty quickly. Until I went to eat it and it was a rubbery piece of salty yuck.

Pieces of Leather for Breakfast
The sausages do not make oil. Not one sizzle. Lay in the pan like a piece of leather and starts burning and getting hard within a minute. I discarded the first batch thinking I did something wrong but it was the same outcome for the second try.

Purchased two packages which was a mistake. These are the worse turkey sausages ever! Rubbery, tasteless and made with very very poor quality of ingredients! Shame on you! This item truly needs to be discontinued. Both packages were trashed.

Weird texture and smell
The patties are thick and tough. They also have a rubbery texture and weird smell. These grossed us out so bad.
