Q: Cooking directions for a microwave oven

A: Keep frozen until ready to use. May be refrigerated overnight to thaw. Do not refrigerate longer than 3 days. Directions were developed using an 1100-watt microwave oven. Ovens vary. Heat times may need to be adjusted. From Frozen: 1. Remove from wrapper. Wrap in paper towel. 2. Microwave on defrost (30% power) for 1 minute 30 seconds or until thawed. 3. Turn sandwich over, microwave on HIGH for 55 seconds or until hot. (For compact microwave ovens lower than 850 watts, add 10-20 seconds, if needed.) 4. Let stand in microwave for 1 minute before serving. From Refrigerated: 1. Remove from wrapper. Wrap in paper towel. 2. Microwave on HIGH for 50 seconds or until hot. (For compact microwave ovens lower than 850 watts, add 5-10 seconds, if needed.) 3. Let stand in microwave 1 minute before serving.

I’ve eaten Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich everyday for years but lately the quality has gone way down. The biscuit doesn’t even cover the sandwich anymore. Guess it’s time to move on to a new manufacturer. Good bye my old friend

I’ve been eating jimmy dean sandwiches every day for the last year. This morning I bit in and almost chipped my tooth on a hard object. After dissecting the sandwich there were to small objects that resembled either a very hard plastic or glass.

I've been buying these every week for about a year now and while I do love their flavor and how easy they are to make, it seems the company is trying to cut corners on quality control and ingredients especially on the biscuits themselves. In the last few months, I've had a few boxes of very dry, crumbly biscuits (which isn't a huge deal, they just get messy). The worst part is that over the past few months, the biscuits are getting smaller. They don't cover the sausage patty and cheese any more. If I were to quantify it, I'd say the biscuit is probably 20% smaller. If the entire thing was smaller, I'd understand. Things are expensive and if you have to cut the size of things to keep the same cost, fine by me. But just the biscuit?! That's like the cheapest part to make, no?! Thankfully they also make croissant and English muffin sandwiches, which I will be switching to, but it's disappointing to see the fall of the once delicious biscuit sandwich.

We’ve bought these for years because our kids will eat them for breakfast. The last two boxes we’ve bought the biscuit has been tiny. I mean really really tiny compared to the sausage in the egg. I realize you’re trying to find a way to cut cost, but it looks ridiculous. If you have to reduce the size of one of the items reduce the size of all of the items. The main reason I will eat these is because of the biscuit and the protein I get from it. If the biscuit continues to be this tiny, I will not continue to buy them.

The biscuit is so small, it doesn't cover the sausage or egg. The biscuit is approx 2 inches in diameter and paper thin. Biscuits are probably the least expensive part of the sandwich and you are left to hold melted cheese. We have tried multiple Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches and they are all sub-standard and way too expensive.

I love this bite sized morsel. What happened to the breakfast sandwich? Your product should be called minis. Smallest breakfast mini I have ever had. It kind of feels insulting to all of us.

Easy prep makes this a quick and easy start to my day. It is important to keep these frozen until ready to eat. Don't delay getting home from the grocery with them. Slightly thawed and refroze will make your biscuits a little hard. I am a fan of the biscuit style the best.

I get a box every month. I bought one this month and they are different. Biscuits aren’t as big and fluffy as they were, they are flat and not flaky at all. The sausage and egg aren’t as good either. I’m really disappointed in the new sandwich

We have been buying these for at least 20 years and today when we opened the box the biscuits had shrunk by at least half. Two bites if you are lucky not even enough to bother with running microwave to heat up. They are the regular package not the one marked snack size, but they are smaller than sliders. Would have been better to give less in a box then to shrink them down to a waste of time to even open. It is not like these were ever great to eat but they did the trick when in a hurry, not any more we will no longer purchase Jimmy Dean products in any form.

For years I've been enjoying the Jimmy Dean Biscuit with sausage, egg, and cheese. Like others, I've found ways to keep the cheese from melting all over the microwave. But I haven't found a way to fix the very diminished size of the top biscuit. My husband suggested that perhaps we got a defective box, but the next box was much the same and perhaps even smaller -- it's not anywhere near the same size as the bottom biscuit. Boo! Please go back to a full biscuit!
