    This isn’t so much about the item. It’s about the fact that this is now the second time so I will no longer buy bread from you at least not in the pick up. Because it’s now the second time that my bread has been put in a bag with canned food why? I go to Kroger and do a pick up and have absolutely no problem the bread’s in a bag by itself.

    now includes DATEM in ingredient list

    It's bread. But to my mind, pretty flavorless compared to other brands of bread with the word "honey" in the name. Additionally, I switched to this brand from another brand sold at Target that has "honey wheat" in the name, because that brand started adding DATEM to that particular flavor of their bread line (oddly not other flavors; at least not at the time). This -- Sara Lee Honey Wheat -- was DATEM free as of two years ago and so of course I've been blindly buying it every week. But I just noticed that it, too, now has DATEM listed in the ingredients. What is DATEM? An emulsifying ingredient recently added to many bread products with the following potential health effects: "potential heart fibrosis, adrenal overgrowth, gut microbiota changes (reducing good bacteria), and irritation, with high intake potentially raising cardiovascular risk in humans". I'll be switching to Aunt Millie's sandwich bread, which has a delightfully SHORT ingredient list. If Target stops selling Millie's bread, I'll get my bread at the local grocery chain (Jewel in IL). Avoid DATEM.
