My go to for ground beef. It’s just right for spaghetti and no need to add oil as you get the grease from the fat already in the meat. Also tastes clean and does not smell weird like others I’ve found.

The meat is greasy, doesn’t look like a meat 85/15 and it’s more like 70/30 or less. The fat I got when cooking was more than 3oz for 3 pounds. Meat was in sale for the very next day expiring. Please, won’t buy this brand. First and last time buying this meat at target. Looks More like a wagyu ground beef with a terrible flavor.

Why would you pick nearly expired meat?? I buy same day as I’m cooking for freshness. I’d rather have fresh meat for $3 more than meat that stinks.. I’m so upset. I only have 2.5 hours after I get home from work to cook, clean, do hw and bath kids get them in bed, etc.. now I have to go back to the store to exchange. I’m beyond disappointed.. extremely frustrated.. I expect this from the blue store but c’mon target. Do better at choosing pick up items smh!!!!!

Lots of Gristle bits you have to spit out
While the flavor of this organic grass fed ground beef is quite nice, the bits of gristle you spit out are not nice at all. I've eaten various brands of organic grass feed beef & yhis brandc is by far the only one I've had this issue with. I initially bought several packages as was either on sale, a bonus deal, ot some such gimmick and they've all had bits you have to spit out. Maybe it was a bad lot & they knew; hence the gimmick. All times we've eaten as burgers. Perhaps if you ate it loise as in a meat sauce of sorts you wouldn't notice the bits. Not sure I would purchase again. Definitely not at full price because simply there are better options elsewhere. If you find it at a great price compared to other stores then grab it up; but, if it's comparable in price to other stores, then skip it.
