Q: Are these pasture raised?

submitted by Bee - 9 months ago
  • A: Hi! While we do offer Pasture Raised eggs, this specific product is Free Range. The main difference between Free Range and Pasture Raised is the amount of outdoor space. Pasture Raised farms are 50 acres, and Happy Egg Free Range farms are 8+ acres, ensuring every Happy Hen has the freedom to explore and thrive on outdoor pastures. A Happy Hen lays a Happy Egg, after all.

Q: So why all the reviews about bad eggs and bloody eggs any answers for those comments?

submitted by HetCrazyLady - 1 year ago
  • A: Most likely to never encounter such things you are speaking about. Clearly a rating of almost 5 is the over all opinion of the majority of people's outcome when buying these eggs.

Q: Are these eggs antibiotic and hormone free?

submitted by luvnca - 1 year ago
  • A: Our hens are raised with the highest animal welfare standards, which gives you an all-natural egg. We’re proud to offer both organic and conventional (non-organic) eggs. The only difference between the two is the hens’ feed. Our organic hens’ feed is fully non-GMO and comes from grain farms untouched by any hormones or antibiotics.

Q: Are the eggs certified humane?

submitted by Lauren - 2 years ago
  • A: For us at Happy Egg specifically, we think the American Humane Certified Free Range certification is perfect for our hens because it offers 21.8 square feet of outdoor space per bird, and the outdoor space includes 60% vegetation!

I bought these ping pong balls two months ago, and was shocked when they turned into small chickens. I have to say they don't function as well as the more common ping pong balls, and it's very hard to give backspin to a chicken.

3 were punctured and stuck to the box

Love these eggs but not when 3 were punctured and stuck to the box. Expensive when you get 9 edible eggs for this price. Recommend you go inside, check the entire box before making purchase.

    Happy egg changed?

my only go to eggs are Happy Egg. The orange yolk and the rich taste is just wonderful. I have been buying these eggs for years, I now moved to KS and of course bought the happy eggs. Very disappointed that in a dozen carton eggs, I might find orange yolk not even half of them. don't know what's going on
1 reply from Happy Egg team - 1 month ago
Thank you for reaching out to us. We always expect some variability in yolk color because, just like humans, no two hens are exactly alike. Several natural factors such as seasonal changes, diet adjustments, or individual hen differences, can affect yolk color. Rest assured; our farming standards haven’t changed! The Happy Hens still enjoy a premium, nutrient-rich diet and daily access to outdoor pastures, where they play, peck, and forage. Please reach out to us directly at contact@happyegg.com. We'd love to make this right.

    Best Happy Eggs

I always want my eggs to be “happy”. Freedom to graze outside means your eggs were layed by chickens eating the nutrients they should. I love “Happy Eggs”. The bright orange yolks tell you they are full of antioxidants because they are from free outside chickens. They are always large and delicious.

    Makayla

Service review! Unrelated to quality. Makayla was so great with my target pick up. She offered to place the eggs in the passenger seat so that they didn’t break and actually took the time to check the status of the eggs. Just before handing them off she noticed they were broken and took the effort to run in and switch out the item for a new one! Phenomenal service that makes a world of difference for customers. Thank you for treating my groceries with care, Makayla

Sad but may have to move on to another pasture

I always buy happy eggs but the last 2 cartons have been less tasty and pale like the cheap cooped up chickens produce. What is going on?

Its a no from me, dawg

Okay, so the yolks are yellow 🙃 if you are going to charge $8 for eggs, these need better quality control. I cracked 6 of them and they’re more yellow than the $2/dozen cartons I normally buy. There is also no difference in taste. I got scammed by these influencer eggs

    These eggs were delicious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these eggs as a free promotion and I will say I was excited to try them. As a mom who bakes for her family I care about the quality of the food they eat. I used these eggs in cookies pancakes and overeasy - the kiddos favorite egg dish. They stayed well, the shell was strong enough to Crack without it going all over the place. I have since bought more with my own money.

Pay the Farmer or Pay the Pharmacy!

Beautiful GOLDEN yolks!!! I prepared them using the DASH electric egg cooker, and those were the most beautiful hard boiled eggs I have ever seen. No nasty, green ring on the yolks, and they were the color of the most beautiful golden Sun. Well worth the money!! Remember: Pay the Farmer or Pay the Pharmacy!

    Love 💕 these eggs

Interestingly enough I do not like eggs but you know what since I started buying happy eggs I actually like them crave them and I don't have any allergic reactions to them I normally have sneezing and all kinds of problems when eating regular eggs these are the only eggs that I can eat and they actually taste good and they're so delicious made into an egg salad for a sandwich with a little bit of onion cayenne pepper salt pepper and they're so creamy and delicious and I always hated egg salad and eggs they don't give me any nausea I have Alpha gal and I cannot eat regular eggs these eggs do not bother me keep up the good work. Love them
