A guy I work with had brought in samples from a smoothie place his wife owns. The very next day I ventured out to find it on my own so I could have a supply at my own home!!! There may be a white substance (ginger) and sometimes you will also see dark colored specks which is the settling of the black pepper. Feel free to send over photos so we can clarify!

The "black dots" are literally one of the four main ingredients
Just came across these while nursing the flu and decided to try them, since fresh ginger and turmeric are fussy to work with. This feels like a convenient next best thing. The reviews who mentioned it's spicy, oh boy, they were right 💀 If you're sensitive to that, it's good to have something on hand like milk or horchata to use as a chaser. On that note, I wanted to address the most recently posted review (reported for inaccuracy) warning other shoppers that these shots are "old" because they contain "black dots," and that Target won't accept returns in spite of that. Well, um... those black dots are the pepper. You know, one of the four ingredients that they advertise on the bottle. The main thing that makes it spicy. It's supposed to look like that. Buy the 4-pack for the best value 👍

There may be a white substance (ginger) and sometimes you will also see dark colored specks which is the settling of the black pepper. This is normal sediment, as we don't use preservatives, and the cold pressing process can cause separation. Always shake it up before use!

Give colds the boot
These shots are the best supplement to give colds /flu the boot. After one and plenty of fluids, the next day there’s a huge difference. Put aside it IS spicy due to the ingredients, that’s natural. Just drink water behind it. Nothing that tastes good ever made you better.
