    Canned Diarrhea

    I have a standard poodle. I don't know what it is about this food, but when I mix this food with my dog's dry purina, he gets acute diarrhea. Bloody loose diarrhea. When I stop the canned food, the diarrhea stops. I give him less than the recommended can portion when mixing with dry food, and he still gets diarrhea. I'm happy to have finally figured out that it was this canned food, so I can stop buying it. I've only ever bought it occasionally as a treat for my dog. Maybe this needs to be looked into if more cases arise.

I will stop buying the tender cuts beef and chicken: the protein is too high for my Pekingese kidney issues. The Chicken ground has less protein.
